WARRANTY:
Techmate offers a lifetime warranty on all its repairs and replacement jobs for all devices including iPhone, Samsung, Huawei, LG, etc. it is requested to keep your repair receipt save as you will need to present it at the time of warranty claim. No claim will be entertained without original repair receipt. Our warranty covers only those repaired or replaced parts for which we have performed any service, no other cell phone parts can be claimed within this warranty.
Any work carried out under legit warranty claim will be completed free of charge, however, you are responsible to bring in your device to our store and we don’t offer any pickup or drop-off for warranty claims. In any case where the device has been opened or repaired by a third part mobile repair shop other than Techmate or an individual, our warranty will stand null and void. Moreover, our warranty doesn’t cover any accidental damage at users’ part including water spill, drop-off, smash or misuse. All warranty claims have to be get approved by one of Techmate employee to be deem as legit.
REPAIRS
It is advised to backup all your devices’ data before getting it repaired through Techmate. You are requested to get your iPhone data backup through iTunes or Android data backup through preferred means. No claim for lost or corrupt data during or after cell phone repair will be entertained by Techmate.
In any case where the device has already undergone a third party cell phone repair shop service, Techmate will not be responsible for any additional damage which might incur during repair or replacement service.
Also, while using our service the client is acknowledging the fact that this might hamper or void his/her devices’ warranty issued by manufacturer or any other mobile repair shop.
INCIDENTAL DAMAGE
Apart from the claimed damage, any further damage that might incur to device while repairing is not the responsibility of Techmate until the repairing technician accepts fault. If the further damage is accepted by technician as his fault, the damage will be repaired free of charge. Contrarily, the client is at his will to either pay extra charges for damage fix or leave it as it is.
In any case where Techmate is unable to repair the damage which has been accepted by our technician, we will refund the cost for the device as per its market value. Under no circumstances, Techmate is liable to refund or replaced the broke device with a brand-new one.
DELIVERY SERVICE
All cell phone repairs will be made at our location and within the agreed time frame between our technicians and client. In any case where the repair time exceeds the decided time, the client will be informed first hand.
PAYMENT
Payments for any cell phone repair or replacement job will be done at the completion of job. In any case where the client refuse to pay the agreed amount for the job, Techmate will withhold the device until all liabilities have been cleared from client’s end.
5% GST and 7% PST are applicable to all repairs performed on electronic devices.
ABANDONED DEVICES
In case where client is unable to collect his/her unpaid repaired device for 45 days, the device will be deemed as the property of Techmate and no claim would be excepted at the end of 45 days. For paid mobiles, clients are advised to collect their devices within 60 days, after which they will be considered as the sole property of Techmate and no claims will be entertained.
Should a client’s device with an unpaid repair remain in our possession for over 45 days due to the client’s negligence, it will be considered abandoned and then becomes the property of Techmate. Devices that have been repaired and paid for may remain in our possession (due to the client’s negligence) for up to 60 days before they become the property of Techmate.
